More Hate Productions presents the debut album by PAKUTA from Belarus. The album consists of nine songs recorded in 2024 — 2025 and ranging from Post-Black Metal and Doom Metal to DSBM with Death Metal elements. In Belorussian ‘pakuta’ means suffering, agony, torture or anguish. This feeling is conveyed through both the lyrics and the music of the band. The main idea of the album is to show the internal conflict of a person, the sense of hopelessness and the premonition of inevitable death. The lyrics are filled with dark images, metaphors and emotions, creating gloomy introspective atmosphere. Reflective of the inner sufferings of the author, the album is not devoid of a critical perception of the world. Keys and violins used in the arrangements now and then enhance the depressive atmosphere. The minor clean guitar inserts contribute to the melancholic mood of this release, while the blast beats and tough guitar riffs ensure it remains heavy. The vocals are presented by female screaming from Yulia Shkabaro and male growling from Sergey Zhdan (Venom Symbiote, Sagotorium, Moloty Ribbentrop and PoloskAnus).
