SIMARGL
SIMARGL is an allegation of Slavic melodics and modern metal ranging from black metal to lyrical ballads. The official biography of the band begins on March 22, 2003. On this day SIMARGL supported by A.R.M. hits the stage for the first time at “Night Forever” show. The band is formed in the Kirov region of Russia. Over the years SIMARGL develops its own style, undergoes line-up changes, records time-tested material, participates Festivals and shows in different cities of Russia. The activity of the band peaks in 2017 with a solo concert played at GAUDI — the iconic Kirov venue — and starts decreasing in 2018. After a while SIMARGL substantially ceases to exist as a band. In 2023 on the occasion of its twentieth anniversary, the decision is made to call all (!) band members together and make a comeback. As a result SIMARGL records a new single titled “The soldiers return home through the red snow...". In the end of 2024 the band commences the recording of a new full-length album titled "Istok" (Origin), released on March 23, 2025. Until the end of 2025 SIMARGL has several live shows scheduled across Russia.
