The first full-length album by a new Russian band from Ulan-Ude. Quite authentic and unexpected blend of black metal with other absolutely non-metal styles of music results in catchy can?rous songs with frequent mood swings: from anger, despair and grief to sadness and melancholy. Not the strongest and richest vocal, however, it is this hysterical and gulpy howling that blends seamlessly into the music and enhances its emotional charge. Lyrics of the album represent morbid reflections on such topics like death, mental depression, the place of ? person in the world and (once again) death. Furthermore, death is perceived as a part of a cycle rather than the end of a journey since the album itself has a cyclic structure where the coda of the last song smoothly merges into the beginning of the first track. Generally speaking it is a concept album with lyrics full of allusions, easter eggs and ambiguous lines that a?tually contain questions each of us must find his/her own answer to.
